FEBRUARY 4, 2025 | CHICAGO, IL – Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers (“RSUM”), the specialty underwriting segment of Ryan Specialty (NYSE: RYAN), today announced the launch of Celerity Risk, a newly rebranded business unit resulting from its acquisition of Innovisk Capital Partners in November 2024. This strategic union joins CorRisk Solutions, the U.S. wholesale division of Ryan Financial Lines, with Celerity Pro, previously part of Innovisk, forming a substantial offering in the financial professional liability space that will be exclusively accessible through wholesale brokers nationwide.

Celerity Risk is designed to address a wide spectrum of management and professional liability risks, with a broad appetite for small and middle market accounts. This consolidation leverages the underwriting expertise and tailored solutions of CorRisk Solutions with Celerity Pro’s cutting-edge technology and innovative product development.

Celerity Risk will be co-led by two seasoned insurance veterans:

• Tom Nash, Co-President and Head of Professional Liability, has over three decades of expertise in professional liability underwriting. As President of CorRisk Solutions, Tom’s extensive background includes launching and managing successful underwriting businesses and representing the London market as a lead underwriter for multiple facilities.
• Carl Pursiano, Co-President and Head of Management Liability, brings over thirty years of experience in underwriting management liability, professional liability and cyber insurance. As Founder and President of Celerity Pro, Carl has a proven track record of delivering innovative, technology-driven solutions tailored to the needs of small and mid-sized businesses.

Celerity Risk will also have an expansive cyber appetite, encompassing a wide range of industries and businesses of all sizes. Simon White will lead the Celerity Risk cyber team, reporting to Ryan Kratz from the US cyber practice.
