April 1, 2011, CHICAGO, IL – R-T Specialty, LLC (RT Specialty), the wholesale brokerage unit of Ryan Specialty Group, LLC, today announced that it has closed on the acquisition of American E&S Insurance Brokers (AES) from Wells Fargo Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC).

RT Specialty acquired the operating assets of AES. With this acquisition, RT Specialty now has 22 office locations across the U.S.
