Tara Woodward is head of Castel Bloodstock, an underwriting unit within Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International. With over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tara is a seasoned professional and currently the lead underwriter at Castel Bloodstock. Her specialization includes assessing the morality of breeding and racing thoroughbreds, high-value sports horses, and evaluating the fertility of new thoroughbred stallion prospects.

Prior to her current role, Tara worked at Novae Plc for over 10 years. She also served as an account executive at Lockton (previously Alexander Forbes) within the professional indemnity department.
