Peter Wallace is Principal Underwriter and the founder of Castel Latent Defects Insurance (LDI), an underwriting unit within Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International.

Prior to his insurance experience, Peter worked globally in large-scale infrastructure projects for Bechtel. Peter transitioned into insurance, first at Munich Re, then with Castel. Castel’s LDI offering is global and for both commercial and residential projects.

Peter holds a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College and became a Chartered Civil Engineer in 2010.
