Garrod Hill is a founding Partner and President of Albus, a renewable energy underwriting unit within Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International. Albus specializes in solar, wind and BESS assets and Garrod leads the offering with the help of a strong and dedicated team based in London and New York.

Garrod left the legal profession in 2012 and has worked successfully in building his career since with RK Harrison and Guy Carpenter, before making the move into underwriting and the MGA sector and building Albus through a diverse network of retail and wholesale brokers across North America and Europe.
