Clive Moore is Director and Underwriter at Castel NAPL, an underwriting unit within Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International.

With over 40 years of experience in the business, Clive started his insurance career in 1974 at the AON predecessor company Alexander Howden. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions within the group, eventually becoming the managing director of the casualty and professional liability group in 1989. In 1998, he founded Lloyd’s broker Grosvenor, specializing in US architect and engineers (A&E) and law firm professional liability. Joining Brit in 2007 as part of their US professional liability underwriting group, Clive focused on A&E and law firms. Clive joined Pioneer in November 2013 to establish PNA 9987, a Lloyd’s facility writing North American professional liability business.

Known as a respected lead underwriter in the market, Clive frequently visits the US, attending client and broker offices and conferences.
