JANUARY 5, 2026 | CHICAGO – Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers (“RSUM”), the underwriting management division of Ryan Specialty (NYSE: RYAN), is pleased to announce the promotions of key individuals for the Ryan Financial Lines (“RFL”) executive team effective January 1, 2026. RFL offers clients and capital providers a wide-ranging, single platform of financial lines products. With operations across the US, London, Europe and Latin America, Ryan Financial Lines leverages in-house expertise to provide a full suite of products and services for the small-to-middle market enterprise and large insured market.

The RFL promotions are:

• Patrick Mitchell, President of North America, RFL – Patrick was most recently the Chief Operation Officer and Chief Underwriting Officer for RFL and joined the MGU in 2024. Patrick has over 20 years of management and professional liability underwriting expertise, rising to various leadership positions including managing an SME Financial Lines team and portfolio of a global insurer. In his new role, Patrick will oversee the US and Canadian operations for RFL.
• Rich Winborn, CEO of International, RFL – Rich joined Ryan Specialty in 2024 as part of its acquisition of Innovisk Capital Partners. Rich is a former corporate lawyer who became an M&A underwriter in the financial lines division of a global insurer in 2010. In 2019, Rich partnered with Innovisk launching Themis in 2019, which he ran successfully for six years prior to joining Ryan Specialty. In his new role, Rich will oversee the international operations of RFL.
• George Paraskeva, Global Managing Director of Cyber, RFL – George first joined Ryan Specialty through EmergIn Risk in August 2021 bringing a diverse background of experience in both cyber insurance and the wider cybersecurity industry. He previously worked at a leading space managing general underwriter (“MGA”), leading the day to day Cyber underwriting capability while also managing the MGA’s technical cyber security proposition. Prior to this MGA, George built and managed the Information Security function at a global insurer. Having experience on both sides of the insurance purchase has provided George with a unique understanding of both the cyber risks companies face, along with the ability to craft solutions that best address the transfer of risk.
