Vladimir is a founding Partner and Underwriter at YachtPod Risk Partners, an underwriting unit within Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International. Vladimir has 40 years of experience in the marine insurance industry.

After 14 years in the Lloyds Broking fraternity with Horace Holman, Vladimir was one of the founders of Lead Yacht Underwriters Limited, an innovative MGU for Super Yachts, eventually selling the entity 14 years later in 2011. In 2016 Vladimir was a founding Partner of YachtPod Risk Partners, an MGU dedicated to super/mega yachts, and with the help of a dedicated team has grown the underwriting unit to what it is today.

Vladimir was educated at the French Lycee in London, read Economics at the University of Sussex and has an MBA from the City of London Business School.
