Stuart Burchell leads the team at PERse International and has been involved in renewable energy insurance since 2002. Stuart’s experience, relationships and contacts throughout the renewables sector enable the PERse International team to penetrate the international market with a depth of understanding and exposure management which is vital in such a rapidly evolving space.

Prior to joining Ryan Specialty, Stuart spent a decade leading the underwriting team at GCube Underwriting as both an MGA business and an insurance company underwriting division at Tokio Marine HCC. This role at Tokio Marine entailed developing, managing and motivating an underwriting team of 20+ people, based in 5 different offices around the world whilst delivering underwriting profits in an increasingly challenging and competitive sector for insurers.
