Paul Sherry has served as Joint Managing Director of 360° Underwriting along with Tommy Byrne since the company was founded in 2017.  360° Underwriting joined Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers in 2025.

Paul has experience across loss adjusting, commercial broking, construction consultancy and underwriting dating back to 1997. Prior to establishing 360° Underwriting, Paul operated as a senior underwriter in Liberty Insurance for six years. He also worked with Ireland’s largest independent construction brokerage with a focus on both private OCIP business and Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) for government-led projects on behalf of some of Irelands largest building contractors and developer clients.

Paul holds an honours degree in Insurance and European Studies from the University of Limerick, is ACII qualified and completed a Diploma in Construction Law with the Law Society of Ireland in 2018.
