Michael Benvenuto serves as Chief Operating Officer of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers (RSUM). Mike provides key strategic leadership for the delegated authority underwriting management platform, ensuring continued operational excellence. He has over twenty years of experience scaling and optimizing organizations, executing innovative strategies to drive business growth and margin.

Mike joined Ryan Specialty as Chief Procurement Officer in 2024 and was appointed to his current role with RSUM in June 2026. Prior to his time with Ryan Specialty, Mike spent over sixteen years with Aon, holding the role of Global Chief Procurement Officer for the last eight years.

Mike received his Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, in international business from Ithaca College. He is a member of Axiarete’s and ACK Foundation’s boards, as well as Flexera’s advisory board.
