Keith Burkhardt is Chief Executive Officer of Tera Underwriters, a part of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers. Tera is a specialty insurance platform providing purpose-built capacity for industrial-scale computing hardware at cryptocurrency mining and AI/HPC data center facilities.

Prior to Tera Underwriters, Keith served as Head of Insurance at Evertas from 2022 to 2025. Before that, he spent over nine years as Vice President at Kraus-Anderson Insurance, where he was responsible for developing the agency’s growth strategies, including new products, services, mergers and acquisitions, talent development and recruitment.

From 2001 to 2013, Keith was Regional Managing Director at Wells Fargo Insurance Services, leading Upper Midwest operations and the Minneapolis office. He also served as Managing Director at Acordia, overseeing agency operations, market positioning, P&L, acquisitions and recruitment.

Keith began his insurance career in 1980 at Sedgwick, where he spent over fifteen years, including a role as Senior Vice President directing energy, transportation and healthcare production teams.
