Katie Daley Davies serves as President & CEO of JEM Underwriting Managers and CEO of Technical Risk Underwriters (TRU), which are both business units of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers. She has also served as CEO of Power.Energy.Risk (PERse) North America and was a founding member of WOW! (Women. Opportunity. Winning!), Ryan Specialty’s women-focused employee resource group. Katie has been with Ryan Specialty since 2018.

Katie has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She served as President of Amwins Special Risk Underwriters (SRU) from 2009 to 2018 and, before that, was Vice President, Midwest Regional Property Manager with Chubb (formerly ACE). Katie began her career with an internship with Aon in London before working as a broker for Marsh.

Katie graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in government and a concentration in international relations. Katie serves on the Georgetown University Allegiance Committee, which supports women’s athletics. Katie is also a founding member of a YPO (Young Presidents Organization) chapter in Miami.

Katie was named Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers’ Executive of the Year in 2023 and has been included on Insurance Business America’s Hot 100 2024, Elite Women 2023 and Elite Women 2020 lists.
