Iain Cotton is a Founding Partner and Underwriter at YachtPod Risk Partners, an underwriting unit specialising in superyacht insurance within Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International.

Iain has over 40 years underwriting experience in the London marine insurance market. His career commenced at Lloyd’s, working at several syndicates specialising in the Blue Water Hull and Machinery sector. In 2005 Iain joined Lead Yacht Underwriters Ltd, a pioneering MGU specialising in the Superyacht insurance space, as a partner. In 2016, together with Vladimir Mirosevic-Sorgo, YachtPod Risk Partners was founded, and began operating within the Castel platform.
