Duco Teijema is Marine Manager at Ryan Specialty Netherlands, joining the group as part of the Castel acquisition in May 2024.

Duco took on the role of marine manager at Castel in the Netherlands in 2020. Prior to that position, he was a marine manager for Torus/Starstone, and worked in marine underwriting for CV Starr and AIG before then. Duco began his career as a merchant marine deck officer and later transitioned to become a marine claims surveyor for 17 years.
