Adam Schnell serves as Executive Vice President and oversees all functions under Clach Casualty Underwriting Managers, an MGU formed in 2025 as a series company of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers. Adam joined RSUM and Ryan Specialty National Programs through Ryan Specialty’s acquisition of Ethos Specialty, which he started in 2017 as part of the Ascot Group.

Prior Ethos Specialty, Adam oversaw WKFC’s casualty and professional lines programs starting in 2012. Before joining the MGU side of the business, he had been the New York branch manager overseeing the casualty underwriting team ACE Westchester Specialty Group. Adam’s career started in 1995 as a claim’s examiner handling a wide variety of specialty GL claims with a focus on habitational real estate and construction.
