RSG Attends the 116th Annual IIA of Wisconsin Convention
The first day of the 116th Annual Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin Convention began with three different breakout sessions. The first breakout session featured the IIAW Automation/Technology Committee, which hosted an open forum. The second breakout session featured an Emerging Industry Issues Panel. The Panelists included Bernard Rosaeur of WCRB, J.P. Wieske of the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance for the State of Wisconsin, and Stephen C. Clarke of the Insurance Services Office. The third breakout session featured a talk by Kathy Paulson of The Assistants’ Coach LLC, who delivered a presentation on “The Three C’s to Your Office’s Success”.
Welcome remarks from IIAW President John Wickhem and featured speaker Ryan Hanley of Agency Nation followed the breakout sessions. After the welcoming remarks, there was a luncheon with Robert O’Neill, a combat veteran. Mr. O’Neill connected his experiences as a combat veteran with being able to serve as a good leader and operate in uncertain environments.
Throughout the convention, there was talk about changes being considered in Wisconsin that would create great growth opportunities for independent agents & brokers. Agents spent the day lining up markets to assist them with this growth.
